NAVANA Labs Chetwynd has an immediate need for a full-time, entry-level, Laboratory Assistant to work under the supervision of the Laboratory Analyst.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Administrative duties as assigned
- Pick up samples at the drop off location in Chetwynd, BC
- Prepare sample bottles and coolers for distribution to customers
- Prepare samples using laboratory equipment consistent with company SOPs
- Receive, unpack, inspect, sort, and label customer samples
- Recognize and report any sample issues
- Maintain a clean working environment
- Assist the Laboratory Analyst in less complex laboratory tests and procedures
- Provide excellent customer service with a professional attitude
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure sample integrity and quality control
- Work in a safe manner and comply with all environmental, health, and safety requirements

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma
- Post-secondary education in related background is preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract and means of personal transportation
- Experience in a lab or production setting is preferred but not required
- Ability to
- read, understand, and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate, and timely manner
- Effective time management skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure during demanding work periods
- Capable of prioritizing tasks to meet goals and ensure product quality
- Willing to meet on-call obligations as needed
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Physical Strength to lift 50 lbs.
