E-commerce Manager

We’re currently seeking an **E-commerce/Social Media Manager** that is a dynamic individual with e-commerce and content creation experience that will grow our online and social presence to new heights in the digital space. We are hiring an ambitious and enthusiastic online manager to work on the development and maintenance of our e-commerce expansion and social platforms that will connect our customers to our brand.

**E-Commerce/Social Media Manager Responsibilities**
- Work closely with management to develop and implement strategies for content creation, website development and brand awareness that aligns with company values, vision and branding strategy
- Content creation for website and social platforms including creating brand awareness, boosting online sales, product uploads, and genuine customer engagement
- Create a regular content schedule for website and social platforms
- Utilize data analytics to create timely promotions and paid marketing campaigns
- Basic SEO and generation of inbound traffic
- Use creative and attractive photography styles to create appealing product images for the website. Take photos, edit, and format images to be suitable for uploading on product listings on e-commerce sites
- Upload products to websites using back-end inventory software
- Create copy for products, with appealing descriptions of features and unique selling points
- Edit web images using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Engage and respond to customers with online customer requests
- Work closely with warehouse facilities and storefront to ensure timely shipping of orders
- Other duties as required

**Ongoing E-commerce Maintenance & Development**
- Coordinate suitable banners to showcase products, sales, seasons, on each e-commerce site
- Create periodic editorial content for blog events and festivals happening in Banff National Park
- Update store opening days/hours on websites and google content when advised

**Project Work**
- Work on online projects as and when directed
- Assist management to coordinate scheduled photography shoots

**Qualifications**
- Post-Secondary Graduate would be an asset, although not required

**Skills and Experience**
- Some work experience, demonstrating examples of success in areas applicable to our job description
- Strong communication skills essential
- Considerable attention to detail
- Experience of working with Windows 10/11. Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word and Excel
- Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop experience would be considered an asset
- Photography skills

**Job Types**: Fixed term contract, Freelance
