Explore our job opportunities and join us in shaping the future of renewable energy, contributing to the creation of a world powered by sustainable energy._ ENERCON is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to fill the role of **Regional Director of O&M (Operations & Maintenance) Services for the North American region.** Reporting directly to the Regional CEO, this leadership position entails overseeing the entire spectrum of maintenance services, managing a portfolio of over 1,000 installed wind turbines, and leading a team of 100+ employees across various disciplines. The goal of O&M services is to maximize the availability, reliability, and efficiency of the wind turbines while minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. **Key Responsibilities**: - **Strategic Planning**:Develop and execute the regional strategic plan for the Wind Turbine Maintenance Services group based on market, client, and corporate priorities. Collaborate with global ENERCON service departments, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. - **Operational Leadership**:Oversee all maintenance operations for wind turbine assets, ensuring adherence to industry standards and safety protocols. Manage a multidisciplinary team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of excellence. - **Business Development**:Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion of O&M services within the region. Collaborate with business development teams to secure new contracts and partnerships. - **Client Relationship Management**:Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring high satisfaction levels. Act as a primary point of contact for client communications and conflict resolution. - **Financial Management**:Develop and manage the regional O&M budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control. Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures. - **Quality and Compliance**:Ensure that O&M services comply with industry regulations, quality standards, and environmental health and safety requirements. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency. - Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil, or related field). - 10 years or more of industry experience, encompassing commercial, engineering, renewable energy, consulting, etc. - Proven experience in leading diverse teams, including both white and blue-collar professionals. - Strong background in managing operational concepts, resources, and processes. - Fluent in English and French. - Effective communicator with the ability to engage and influence various stakeholders, both internally and externally. - Proficient in understanding and analyzing complex technical issues, proposing effective solutions. - Strong decision-making skills with a strategic, process-oriented mindset and effective change management capabilities. - Willingness to travel regularly across Canada for meetings and occasionally to the US and Europe (approximately 15% of the time).
