**Casual/On-Call **| Hourly Rate: $21.01 - $21.65**

We are looking for a motivated, hard-working and enthusiastic **Dishwasher **for our award winning **Oceana PARC** in **White Rock. **As a Dishwasher, you play a key role in supporting our Food & Beverage team.

**Dishwasher Responsibilities**:

- Wash all cookware, dishware, cutlery, etc. in accordance with established policies and procedures to ensure cleanliness and sanitation;
- Assist kitchen as needed with prep and supplies;
- Take out garbage, compost and recyclables;
- Maintain overall cleanliness of kitchen and dish area.

**Dishwasher Skills and Experience**:

- Experience with commercial dishwashing equipment, knowledge of food service practices and safe use of kitchen equipment, together with Grade 10 education or equivalent;
- Previous experience in basic kitchen duties is an asset (e.g. basic kitchen prep work);
- Ability to effectively communicate in English (oral and written);
- Strong team player with the demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service to employees and residents;
- Reliable, with attention to detail and ability to work efficiently to high cleaning standards;
- Empathy for and understanding of the needs of seniors, their families, and their professional service providers;
- Successful completion of Food Safe 1 and WHMIS;
- Availability to work across all three North Vancouver properties an asset.
