POSITION OVERVIEW

The Finance Business Partner is a trusted advisor that understands the business and provides real time support and analysis and add value that will assist decision making. They can influence the business's decisions to achieve financial strategies and performance. Play a key role in supporting business planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

CHALLENGES TO BE MET- Work closely with the management team and be an active contributor to the business planning- Interact with senior stakeholders to provide and improve financial planning, analysis and forecasting support to the business unit- Gather and analyze business and finance data to simulate various corporate strategies- Adapt financial models and provide expertise to business priorities- Support and challenge the business for delivery of financial targets- Prepare monthly comprehensive and value-added analysis based on models, productivity and other standards, and brief management on results- Drive performance and insight by supplying data and interpreting it- Accountable for financial governance including business case and project review- Participate to ad-hoc reporting while being supported by the center of excellence- Participate to operational meetings and day-to-day site management in order to help quickly identify risks and opportunities and drive financial performance- Lead process improvements and special projects- Participate in or assist the financial planning and analysis team on projects and analyses as required

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field, CPA designation or MBA an asset- Minimum 10 years experience with industry- Strong ability to communicate and deliver the information in a clear and user-friendly manner- Strong financial and analytical skills and knowledge of financial services industry business- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen- Capable of driving and influencing business performance- Proven ability to work with senior management and executives- Written and oral fluency in French and English is required- Familiarity with agile methodologies and agile workplace an asset- Ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment- Creative team player, flexible and cooperative with a desire to work within a team
