Automotive Upfitter

**Responsibilities**:

- Install electronics in emergency vehicles such but not limited to, sirens, lighting controllers, light bars and emergency lighting, weapon systems, GPS vehicle tracking, computers, remote start alarms systems, mobile video systems, radars systems and heating and AC systems._
- Install mechanical components such as canine, partitions, consoles, tonneau covers, back-racks, prisoner containment, plows, storage systems, ladder racks._
- Install, maintain, and service work for our fleet clients. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electronic devices and micro circuits._
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient installation of product and ensure that the Fleet vehicles are consistent in there quality._
- Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and installations._
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in electronic technology._

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as an automotive electronics technician or similar role._
- Strong knowledge of computer networking and low voltage systems._
- Familiarity with mechanical components and systems._
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics._
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills._
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills._
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities._
- EVT certification An asset but not required_
