Position Title: Early Childhood Educator

Location: Cameron Park and Confederation Park in Burnaby

Terms: Part time position from July 2025 to August 2025 with possibility to extend

Shift: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 9am to 1pm

Pay: Responsible adult or ECEA $22/hr, ECE $25 or higher based on experience

**Job Description**:
Questcoast Kids is seeking an educator to join our summer team working with our group of Questies, aged 1 to 6 years, in our half day program that is 100% outside.

**Responsibilities**:

- Follow and maintain our current daily routine and transitions
- Lead and assist with activities that are prepared for the day
- Follow our respectful approach and philosophy when engaging with the children
- Build positive relationships with children and their families
- Help children navigate conflict and role model positive behaviours
- Maintain a safe environment for the children
- Ensure the health and safety of children in your care
- Engage in the children’s interests and follow their lead for activities
- Communicating with families and business operator about the children’s day

Qualifications/Experience:

- Must be a Responsible Adult, ECEA or ECE
- Emergency First Aid and CPR C
- Experience in a daycare or group childcare setting
- Criminal Record Check
- Early Childhood Educator Certification
- Forest School Experience

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 20 per week
