**SUMMARY OF JOB**
Manage equipment from concept through implementation including quoting, approvals, development, testing, installation, implementation, and continuing support. The Specialist will understand design concepts such as material flow and ergonomics along with providing an expertise in material handling equipment.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
▪ Maintain records for equipment and parts inventory, equipment condition, costs of repairs and preventative maintenance schedules and program for all equipment.
▪ Manage commissioning in collaboration with the team.
▪ Provide support to plants in order to constantly maximize equipment operational efficiencies.
▪ Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical defects or failures in various types of maintenance equipment, including diesel, gas and electric powered equipment, ensuring all service requests and repairs are completed recorded thoroughly and in a timely manner.
▪ Develop the electrical, mechanical or hydraulic solutions as required and according to the standards.
▪ Define tools and standards to ensure knowledge transfer to plants.
▪ Train maintenance and production personnel regarding equipment usage, preventative maintenance, proper cleaning procedures and safe operation of equipment.
▪ Oversee and maintain the equipment service area for organization, cleanliness and safety.
**REQUIRED COMPETENCIES**
▪ Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
▪ Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
▪ Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to pay close attention to detail.
▪ Strong organizational skills and ability to establish priorities and meet tight deadlines.
▪ Ability to prepare detailed reports and correspondence. Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
▪ Ability to work independently
▪ Possess strong technical and analytical skills
**EXPERIENCE**
▪ A minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.
**EDUCATION**
▪ Bachelor electrical engineering or automated production
