Security Systems Technician

Regina, Canada Paladin Technologies Full time

Due to our continued growth in Central Canada, we are looking for an experienced Security Technician to join our team in Regina. Our Security Technician will be responsible for installing communications infrastructure and devices, including electronic security systems, access control systems, CCTV, and intrusion alarms.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Installation (including pre-wiring, installing, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting) of electronic systems and devices; service and maintenance of such as required
- Support, lead, and mentor team members
- Design systems and layout
- Provide customer with training for proper system usage, and respond to technical inquiries
- Maintain a high level of safety and professionalism
- Complete detailed and accurate paperwork
- Perform other tasks as required; Lead projects at a site level, manage a team of junior technicians if required

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience with integrated security systems
- Experience working with Genetec, Lenel, C-Cure, Avigilon, Milestone or other enterprise-level Video Management or Access Control System is preferred
- Manufacturer’s training/certification is a strong asset
- Able to work independently
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Post-secondary training in electronics or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Driver’s License with clean abstract
