Client Service Representative

We are seeking a Client Service Representative to join our team in Cambridge.
The Client Service Representative (CSR) will work closely with a team that is dedicated to ensuring that the expectations of our clients are met and exceeded. The CSR will become a first-point of contact for internal staff and a designated group of clients. The CSR will create or facilitate the creation of various client deliverables, customized for each purpose. This role is diverse, dynamic and can sometimes be fast-paced.
**The Client Service Representative will**:
- Work closely with the Account Executive, Analyst and other members of the Integrated Solutions team including Leadership (aka, the internal team), to help deliver the Integrated Solutions value proposition
- Maintain communication between the internal team and client
- Report back to the internal team on any client developments
- Become clients’ first point of contact for day-to-day service needs
- Help create tools and materials necessary to support the client’s needs
- Manage enquiries from interested members, provide support to active members, and promote the program to prospective members with a goal to grow participation
- Work directly with vendors to obtain necessary information or resolution
**T**o be successful **as a** **Client Service Representative** with People Corporation, you will need**:
- Logical thinking
- Effective multitasking
- Strong communication, written and oral. Good grammar
- Math skills - a strong grasp of arithmetic
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Powerpoint & Outlook
- Insurance industry knowledge is an asset
- Ideally some time in customer service and underwriting
- Knowledge of underwriting rules is very helpful
- The ability to manage/deal with very diverse bank of personalities and needs
- The ability to function in ever-changing environment
- The ability to function without specific processes in place/able to help implement processes
- A professional disposition
- To be capable of working independently and in a team
- Strong problem-solving ability, able to ‘seek first to understand’
- Good self-esteem
- Strong understanding of various carriers’ claims paying and administrative processes, as well as their underwriting practices and pricing models
- Interested in broadening his/her knowledge
