**Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to provide exceptional customer service and maintain food safety standards will contribute to an enjoyable experience for our patrons.

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order taking and payment processing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining spaces.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices at all times.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, pastries, and other supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere and encourage repeat visits.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in the food service or coffee industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
