**Opportunity**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Support various development approvals including Official Plan Amendments, Zoning By-law Amendments, Site Plan Applications, Minor Variances, and Draft Plan of Condominium’s through coordinating with internal project team members, a multi-disciplined consultant team, and various governmental authorities
- Assist in the due diligence review by completing necessary research and evaluation of the feasibility of various built-form options
- Maintain appropriate internal records including project scopes, costs, deliverables and correspondence
- Assist with identifying and managing project schedules
- Ensure all digital directories and internal tools are organized and kept up to date
- Review and identify comments on all technical reports, drawings and other consultant deliverables
- Ensure timely resubmission to address all comments
- Support other internal departments with tasks on an as-needed basis and identify ways to optimize coordination
- Stay current on new industry trends and municipal standards
- Monitor and be informed on new policy updates (Provincial, Regional and Municipal), and development approvals in specified areas
- Provide updates on all Planning & Development matters for internal team members
- Attend municipal and public meetings or events where applicable

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary degree in Planning, Real Estate, Business or related field
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- An understanding of planning policies, regulations and approval processes
- Enthusiastic, hard working, and reliable with a desire to learn and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with a positive team attitude
- Strong problem identification and resolution skills
- Can manage numerous tasks at a time and self-motivated follow up ability

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
