You will support the café’s daily operations, assist in preparing and serving quality coffee beverages, and create a welcoming and friendly environment for our members and guests.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve various high-quality coffee and espresso beverages, including espressos, lattes, cappuccinos, and teas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, including the barista station, seating areas, and equipment.
- Engage with customers, answer questions, and take orders with a friendly and approachable attitude to provide excellent customer service.
- Assist in brewing coffee, managing inventory, and ensuring all products are stocked.
- Operate the cash register, handle transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling.
- Support in preparing and serving light snacks, soups, lunches, and other café items.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Contribute to maintaining the café's unique ambience, ensuring it aligns with our aesthetic and customer expectations.
- Stay up-to-date on new coffee trends, drinks, and techniques to enhance the café experience.

Qualifications
- Prior experience as a barista or in a café/coffee shop environment is a plus but not mandatory. Training will be provided.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Comfortable with multitasking and maintaining attention to detail.
- Passion for coffee, food, and creating a memorable café experience for every guest.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Interest in supporting a creative and inclusive community atmosphere.
