**Job Summary**
Blacktop Traffic Service is looking for Temporary Workplace Signers If you have a valid TWS certificate and want to join our rapidly growing (and busy) team, keep reading

We are looking for hard-working, dependable, safety-oriented leaders with positive attitudes who want to be out in the public, lead a crew, and have the ability to problem solve, work within deadlines and time sensitive situations, and can communicate with crew, clients, and the public.

**Requirements**:

- Valid TWS
- Valid TCP
- Valid Class 5 license
- Live in or near Kentville area.

**Responsibilities**
- Adhere to the most current traffic control manual standards;
- Potential for training and advancement opportunities;
- Casual work dress code;
- Seasonal and year 'round work opportunities;
- Ensure sites are set up correctly and in accordance with NS Traffic Control Manual;
- Ensure all the equipment needed is ready for the next day’s work;
- Engage with customers and clients while on worksite to ensure clear communication and expectations;
- Monitor TCP to ensure compliance with existing policies and that all required PPE is being worn;
- Routine and regular inspection of site to ensure continued compliance;
- Must possess valid TCP and TWS certifications;
- First Aid is an asset;
- Class 5 drivers' licence AND being insurable is a must;
- Always carry your TCP certification on you and present it when required;
- Be in good physical health;
- Have good vision (corrective glasses are fine);
- Have good hearing;
- Be alert;
- Exercise good judgement;
- Be pleasant and cooperative;
- Have no impairment that would reasonably prevent you from performing Traffic Control Person duties.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.50-$22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 60 per week
