**Ontario Health atHome** is looking for an exceptional IS Technician to join our Waterloo Wellington IT team.

What will you do?
- Providing computer software support for Ontario Health atHome staff;
- Providing computer hardware support for Ontario Health atHome staff;
- Maintaining, servicing and supporting computer hardware and office equipment;
- Providing staff with assistance using various computer programs and office equipment;
- Evaluating, analyzing and diagnosing staff Helpdesk issues;
- Creating and supporting all user profiles in various office environments and locations;
- Providing technical support and administration for VOIP phone and voice mail systems;
- Updating inventory of IS equipment;
- Back-up of server and SQL server;
- Referring appropriate client information system software issues to HSSO;
- Taking all reasonable steps to ensure a healthy and safe work environment and participating in continuous quality improvement;
- Other duties as required.
What must you have?
- Two to three-year diploma in computer science field of study;
- Two years relevant on the job technical computer experience;
- Expert understanding of computer systems, laptops, servers, electronics, hardware and software;
- Experience with basic Windows functions, MS Office programs

- Proficient in the operation of a personal computer in a networked environment using computer software and data entry skills;
- Effective end user trouble shooting skills;
- Human relations skills to relate with tact and courtesy to Ontario Health atHome staff, other professionals and staff of external agencies;
- Able to communicate effectively orally and in writing and is empathetic and responsive in all communications;
- Knowledge of office systems, procedures and business practices;
- Able to work effectively in a team based setting, strong planning and organizational skills, along with the ability to multi-task and respond to changing priorities, and to work independently.
