**What role are we looking to fulfill?**

We are looking for Warehouse Helper for a seasonal contract position running from Mid-March to Mid-September.

Shifts are Monday to Friday for 6-8 hours per day depending on workload demand.

**What are the demands of this role?**

The Warehouse Helper is an integral part of our shipping and receiving operations team. This is a moderate to heavy physical workload that requires team members to lift, carry and organize our eBike and Ebike parts inventory.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Receiving incoming merchandise and verifying that they are undamaged and of sound quality.
- Checking and counting received items per supervisor instruction.
- Assisting warehouse staff in retrieving specified merchandise from storage as per the delivery or shipping orders.
- Preparing merchandise for delivery or shipping by packaging and labelling them accordingly.
- Moving all outgoing merchandise to the delivery area.
- Ensuring that all merchandise is properly secured in the delivery vehicles to prevent damage during transit
- Organizing warehouse merchandise and stacking them on shelves and racks in accordance with company guidelines.
- Performing all duties necessary to maintain warehouse cleanliness, which includes sweeping, mopping, and dusting as needed.
- Move, lift, or stack merchandise as needed.
- Assist the supervisor with maintaining records of all incoming and outgoing merchandise.
- Utilizing warehouse lift equipment to load and unload merchandise.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or GED.
- Class 5 driver’s license preferred.
- Reliable transportation
- A forklift license is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Prior experience in a warehouse is an asset.
- Knowledge of standard warehouse practices.
- Ability to learn the use of warehouse inventory management software.
- Ability to drive a pick-up truck and/or van.
- The ability to work well as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good physical stamina.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs

**Salary**: $13-$16 per hour Commensurate with the experience.

**Salary**: $13.00-$16.00 per hour
