Calgary, Canada Short-Term Rental - Family Business Full time

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented cleaner to join our team and ensure our short-term rental properties are immaculately clean and welcoming for guests. As our Cleaner, you will be responsible for performing cleaning duties to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across all units on our property. Your primary goal will be to provide guests with a comfortable and enjoyable stay by ensuring that our accommodations are spotless. equipped and well-maintained.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and common areas in properties
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust surfaces
- Change bed linens and make beds according to established standards
- Do laundry for all towels and linens on site (multiple washing machines available).
- Replenish amenities such as toiletries, towels, linens, coffee pods, creamer, etc.
- Empty trash and replace garbage bags
- Perform regular inspections to ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed to satisfaction. A cleaning checklist will be provided and signed off on for the turnovers.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the owner
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times
- Communicate effectively with property owners/managers regarding cleaning schedules and any special instructions
- On lower-volume days perform sweeping and cleaning in the garden areas (i.e. fountain, patio furniture, sweeping garages, gutters, etc).

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
- Punctuality is required
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Excellent time management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work on higher volume days such as long weekends and Stampede as needed
- Must have reliable transportation to travel
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods. Some units are upper floors and there is no elevator.

**Wage**:
We are flexible with the pay structure depending on availability and reliability. Payment structure can be discussed with the applicant.

To accommodate our guests' needs, we require the individual to be present at the property from 11am-4pm most days of the week. Please note that this schedule is variable based on bookings, ensuring flexibility for both our team members and guests.

Additionally, busy seasons that require more turnovers will have a bonus structure that will be agreed upon by the owner and hired person.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week

Additional pay:
