Municiple Roadside/ Foresty Arborist Foreman

We have roles ranging from equipment maintenance, new to the industry labor, lead hands, foreman's to upper management

Key Responsibilities
- **Tree Maintenance**: Perform a wide range of arboricultural tasks, including pruning, trimming, and removal of trees and shrubs to ensure clear and safe passage for pedestrians and vehicles.
- **Emergency Response**: Respond to storm-related incidents, clearing fallen trees, and addressing hazards to restore public safety.
- **Planting and Inventory**: Participate in tree planting initiatives and help manage the city's tree inventory, keeping accurate records of species, health, and location.
- **Safety**: Adhere to all safety protocols as required by the **Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)** and associated regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and the safe operation of equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.

**Qualifications**:

- **Certification**: A valid **ISA Certified Arborist** credential is required.
- **Experience**: A minimum of 1 years of experience in arboriculture, with a focus on urban or municipal settings.
- **Skills**: Proficiency in tree climbing, rigging, and the use of various arboricultural tools and machinery.
- **Licenses**: A valid driver's license (e.g., Class G) is required. A **Class DZ** or other specific commercial license may be required and should be specified if necessary.
- **Physical Ability**: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions, including lifting heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and working at heights.

Pay: $28.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 60 per week
