- Job Description
**Responsibilities**:
- Respond to inbound inquiries from plan members and third party representatives across Canada
- Provide first level support, including password resets
- Complete call summaries within the case management system, identifying areas for follow-up as required
- Liaise with client representatives, internal consultants and administrators, insurance and financial company representatives regarding escalated member inquiries
- Monitor and resolve client escalations in a timely manner
- Adhere to client service level agreement
- Other tasks or special projects as required
- Succeeding as a Associate Pension and Benefits Contact Centre Representative will require the following core qualifications and skills
- Must be flexible to take on different shifts that include days and evenings (between 8AM and 8PM)
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Bilingualism is an asset
- Exceptional customer focus and strong professional acumen
- Post-secondary education or appropriate training and experience
- Experience in a specialized call centre environment is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to be an active listener
- Knowledge of group benefits (DB and DC pension or group insurance) is an asset
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments
- A good understanding of programs, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Proven ability to learn new software quickly
