**Position Overview**:
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Publishing Account Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our publishing operations, working closely with authors to bring their stories to life, and contributing to the success of our Publishing Mastermind Program and book launches.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support authors through the publishing process for their children’s picture book
- Assist in managing manuscript submissions and correspondence with authors.
- Support author coaching sessions and provide administrative assistance as needed.
- Aid in organising and executing various publishing programs and launches.
- Assist with research tasks, including staying informed about industry trends, updates to print-on-demand platforms, and emerging developments in the publishing industry.
- Collaborate with the team on various publishing projects and initiatives.
- Provide general administrative support to the publishing department as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in English, Communications, Publishing, or related fields preferred.
- Previous experience in publishing, editorial, or related roles is advantageous.
- Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Facebook groups, communication software, and productivity tools required
- Experience with print-on-demand book publishing an asset (Amazon KDP and IngramSpark)
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and bustling work environment and meet deadlines effectively.
- Passion for children's literature and a commitment to supporting authors in their publishing journey.

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
