Overview:
We are seeking experienced Electrical power line and cable workers to construct, maintain and repair overhead and underground electrical power transmission and distribution systems.

**What would you be doing?**
- Erect and maintain steel, wood or concrete poles, towers, and guy wires
- Install, maintain and repair overhead and underground power lines and cables, insulators, conductors, lightning arrestors, switches, transformers, street lighting and associated equipment
- Splice, solder and insulate conductors and related wiring to connect power distribution and transmission networks
- Operate heavy equipment including ariel booms, diggers, backhoes, trackhoes, skid steers and tension stringing equipment
- Powerline QA/QC oversight and turnover management.

**Does this sound like you?**
- Journeyperson Lineman or PLT certificate obtained
- Physically able to handle weight up to 50lbs
- Ensuring safe work practices, EH S processes, and OH S compliance are followed on site
- Valid and up to date safety tickets**:TDG, WHMIS, CSTS-20, Ground Disturbance, H2S Alive (an asset)**:

- Proficient computer-based knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Microsoft Project
- LSE or equivalent safety training
- Experience supervising power line construction is preferred
- Ability to perform right of way clearing activities, surveying, tower base construction, monopole installations, dressing poles and cable stringing and affixing
- ROW Environmental best practices
- Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred
