The Chinook School Division requires Educational Assistant at Capeland Hutterian School. Capeland Hutterian School is a colony school with 16 students. It is located 50 KM north east of Swift Current, SK.
**Start Date**: November 18, 2024
**Qualifications**:
Educational Assistant certification or early childhood training an asset
Ability and experience in working with children
Physical ability to work with active students
Strong interpersonal and relationship skills, and an ability to work in a team environment
A positive and flexible attitude to change
Willingness to respect the Hutterian culture
**Duties may include but are not limited to the following**:
Willingness to meet the health and hygiene needs of children as required
Work one on one with students and within a classroom setting
Willingness to accompany a student on the bus to and from school
Based on needs of individual students, provide individual students with assistance in speech, motor, and language development and social and life skills
Work as part of a team in development and implementation of Individual Improvement Plan
