**The Opportunity**

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Permanent **Parts & Facilities Maintenance Coordinator** at our Head Quarters in Winnipeg. The Parts & Facilities Maintenance Coordinator position (dual role) is responsible for handling purchasing requests for parts for shop mechanics, customers, and other departments. This position is also responsible for coordinating facilities and equipment maintenance as well as some small construction /renovation projects.

**Role and Responsibilities**

**PARTS COORDINATOR**
- Manage parts inventory levels, stock parts, and keep department in good order so that parts are easily found, and safety standards observed.
- Supply shop mechanics with needed service and repair parts from inventory
- Conduct regular audits of equipment and parts inventory to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and supplies.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

**FACILITIES MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR**
- Coordinating and overseeing regular building maintenance and repairs including mechanical, electrical, security and fire prevention systems and grounds maintenance (including snow removal).
- Perform cost effective maintenance expenditures.
- Negotiate with maintenance and repair contractors for services for resolving deficiencies.
- Submit approvals for capital expenditures within authorized limits.
- Assist with ongoing fixed asset inventories and associated records.
- Prepare budgets for repairs and maintenance for pre-approval.
- Handle other duties and projects assigned.

**Job Requirements**:

- Parts department & purchasing experience desirable
- Strong negotiating skills
- Personal and professional integrity
- Well organized & self-motivated
- Ability to bend, pull, and climb as well as lifting of 50 lbs.
- Able to safely operate a forklift to load and unload parts (training provided)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Outlook, Excel, Word
- Excellent customer service skills - dedicated to meeting the expectations of internal and external customers, demonstrates a positive customer service attitude.
- Multi-task. Must be flexible and balance shifting priorities to meet deadlines.
- Work effectively as a member of a team
- Strong written and verbal communications
- Detail-oriented, thorough, and accurate
