Dispatcher-day Shift

**Requirements**:
- Three 12 hour shifts (7am-7pm) plus one 6 hour shift (7am-1pm or 1pm-7pm).
- Possess a strong geographical knowledge of Toronto and the surrounding cities in order to dispatch calls in a timely manner so eta's are reached
- Tracking drivers proactively throughout the day using GPS and dispatch tools, and maintaining contact with drivers and customer service representatives to ensure timely communication with customers in regards to any delays or issues
- Prioritize, organize and dispatch calls according to urgency
- General office duties may include filing, sorting, answering inquiries from clients in person/over the phone looking for impounded vehicles and assisting customers at the front desk when retrieving their vehicles
- Liaise with drivers and management to arrange maintenance and spare vehicles if required
- Adeptly using multi-line telephone system, two-way radios, and other communication methods and networks in a professional and courteous manner
- Patience and endurance to sit/stand behind a desk all day
Compensation will be evaluated based on performance and knowledge once training is completed.
**Salary**: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
