**About the role**:

- Monitor and analyze service department performance to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to increase service department revenue and profitability
- Oversee the scheduling of service appointments and manage the service department's workload
- Ensure that all service work is completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain accurate records of service department operations, including customer service logs, repair orders, and invoices
- Ensure that the service department adheres to all safety and regulatory standards
- Manage and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of parts and equipment
- Train and develop service department staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide exceptional customer service and perform high-quality work.

**Here is what we require**:

- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- At least 5 years of previous work experience as a service manager
- Previous General Motors experience preferred not required
- Superior management and customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of automotive repair and maintenance processes, with the ability to train and develop staff accordingly
- Familiarity with automotive industry regulations and standards.
- Valid Ontario G Driver’s License and clean Driver Abstract
