**Shop Hand**

We are currently seeking a motivated and passionate Shop Hand to join our team full-time. Your role would consist of maintaining the shop and warehouse, assisting the shop manager, and ensuring that all onsite machining equipment and tools are in top condition. Although this position is mainly in-shop, you may be required to transport equipment or tools to field crews periodically.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- General facility upkeep, maintenance, and organization
- Organize and clean machining equipment and trucks that return from the field
- Inspect, maintain, and repair onsite machining equipment, shop tools, and vehicles
- Provide equipment support to onsite crews and help deliver or pick up supplies
- Assist with special projects and cover for other positions when staffing levels are low
- Provide support and assistance to the shop manager
- General labor duties when required

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or higher
- A Class 5 license is required
- Good knowledge of shop or industrial parts and equipment
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and must be able to listen to instructions carefully
- Ability to stand, climb, bend, and lift up to 100lbs for extended periods of time
- Self-motivated and able to work alone or as a member of a team
- Forklift and overhead crane experience is considered an asset
- Prior experience as a shop hand, mechanic, millwright, or machinist would be a benefit

**How to Apply**:
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week

Additional pay:
