Stable Supervisor

Banff Trail Riders is located in the townsite of Banff, offering guided horseback tours from 1 hour to 6 days. We are a very active tourist business with several components that make up the overall company. **This position will require you to**:

- Work alongside the Barn and General Managers overseeing day to day operations.
- Deliver safety briefings to participants before they mount horses.
- Assigning horses to guests and ensuring safe mounting/dismounting.
- Assisting managers with horse health and care.
- Aiding in guest check in and resolving guest disputes.
- Supervise and lead Wranglers in day to day operations.
- Overseeing and enforcing all safety procedures.
- Assisting in training of new wranglers.
- Supervising guest service staff and ensuring guest experience is met.

**Qualifications**:

- 2+ years of horseback riding experience. Western Preferred.
- 2+ years in customer service or client relations.
- Minimum 1 year of management experience.
- Knowledge of horse health and vet care.
- Able to commit to the full operating season. May-October.
- Must have valid drivers license and valid First Aid.

Shared staff accommodation is available at a subsidized rate.

- Management: 1 year (preferred)
- Horseback Riding: 2 years (preferred)
- Customer Service: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Drivers License (preferred)
