**Job Details**:
**We are contracted by the Ministry of Correctional Services for all Provincial Institutions in Ontario. The Mississauga location services Central and Southern Ontario**

**Status**:Full Time**

**Schedule: Monday to Saturday Days - 35-45 hrs /wk**

**Wage: $20.00-$22.00/hr**

**Location
- Mississauga, ON (Corrections Canteen Division)**

**Working Conditions: Stable consistent work environment**

**Important Information: Full “G” license, experience driving 16’ Cube Truck preferred, MTO Law - knowledge of use for ELD (Electric Logging Device) recording on GEO TAB**

**Job Summary**:
**How you will make an impact**:
You will be responsible for maintaining proper inventory levels and product distribution to client facilities.

**As a Route Driver you will**:

- Deliver commissary items to scheduled client facilities
- Prior to beginning each day’s route, ensure that truck/vehicle is properly loaded with all products and vehicle circle checks are completed
- Unload and deliver product to clients at delivery site
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for up to 8hrs or more
- Works well in teams and independently with mínimal supervision
- Police Clearance Required

**About you**:

- A valid G-License and good driving record is required
- Strong communication and written skills
- Ability to deal with challenging situations
- Physically able to carry out duties of position
