Forklift Operator

As Boshart Industries continues to grow, we have created a new night shift within our warehouse. We are looking to hire several Forklift Operators for this shift. The goal of this shift is to ensure steady and uniform movement of products throughout the Warehouse with physical movement matching electronic movement through the use of RF scanners.

The Forklift Operator will perform general warehouse duties including; putting stock away, ensure pick slots and shelf replenishment are maintained and consolidating overstock pallets while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Other warehouse related job tasks may be assigned such as processing orders (where applicable) and supporting other departments or areas as necessary. Cross training opportunities may be offered to ensure a smooth operation of the Warehouse department as a whole.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Stock shelves appropriately as per Company standards
- Maintain stock replenishments by ensuring the electronic movement of the product matches the physical movement of the product
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory by checking product counts on overstock and pick locations to ensure pick locations maintain accurate counts
- Consolidating skids by ensuring same product groups get skidded together and in the area of the pick location with all barcodes facing out
- Identify and report faulty equipment, damages, and safety concerns to Supervisor immediately
- Follow company standards and legal regulations to ensure safe and positive work atmosphere
- Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklifts

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- High School or equivalent
- Previous Forklift Experience

NIGHT SHIFT HOURS: Sunday to Thursday - 12:00am - 8:30am (Ending on Friday morning at 8:30am)
