Our collision center is looking to add an Auto body Detailer to the team.
Reporting to our Collision Center Manager, the Auto body Detailer responsibilities include.
**Responsibilities**:
- Cleans vehicle exterior by hand, brush or by washing equipment
- Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body
- Vacuum, shampoo, add air freshener and clean vehicle interior (some stain removal may be required)
- Inspect body and refinish repairs for deficiencies that may impact the quality of the delivery process; advise production supervisor as required
- Perform basic maintenance checks: antenna, under the hood, inside the vehicle, inside the trunk, and outside vehicle
- Maintains quality service by following Assured quality standards, conducting final inspections and correcting deficiencies
- The shop is to be kept clean by sweeping and daily emptying of garbage containers
- Maintain a clean and orderly production area throughout the workday, ensuring a final clean up at the end of the day
- Continuously learns new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay updated with rapidly changing automotive technology
- Works in accordance with the daily production schedule
**Qualifications**
- A clean, valid driver's license is a must along able to drive a manual transmission.
- Wet sanding & Polishing experience is a must.
- A keen eye for detail and a desire to succeed.
- Must work well in a team environment and still have the ability to work independently when required.
- Auto-body Experience will be an asset
**Requirements**:
- Experience: Detailing: 3 year
- License or certification: Class 5 Drivers License with the ability to drive manual transmission
- Steel-toed work boots/shoes
- Experience in Body Shop
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
