We are seeking an experienced Mobile Crane Operator for a wholesale distribution client located in North York who specializes in clothing and accessories.
**Responsibilities**:
- Operate a mobile crane with precision and safety to move materials, equipment, and products around the warehouse or distribution center.
- Safely load and unload merchandise from trucks and shipping containers using the crane.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing crane operations.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on the crane to ensure proper functionality and report any issues promptly.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and order picking.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a mobile crane.
- Valid 0 to 8-ton crane operator license.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to crane operation.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on safety.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
**Location**: North York
**Start Time**: 6:00 am-5:00 pm (Mon - Sat)
**Pay Rate**: $30/hr. to $35/hr. (depending upon experience)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 - 50 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Overtime
