2024 Firefighter Recruitment

- Application Requirements:

- Be at least 18 years of age
- Reside within the Municipality of North Perth
- Available on an on-call basis, which requires availability 24hours a day, including weekends and holidays.
- Hold a valid Class G Driver’s License and the ability to obtain a DZ license within 2 years of service.
- Committed to the required on-going training schedule including evening and weekends.
- Willing to complete all training required for NFPA 1001 Firefighter 1, Firefighter 2 and Hazmat NFPA 470 firefighting qualifications within 2 years of service.
- Physical and mental capacity to become a certified firefighter in the province of Ontario within 2 years of joining the NPFD.
