**We Deliver the Goods**: - Competitive pay and benefits, including Day 1 Health & Wellness Benefits, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, 401K Employer Matching, Education Assistance, Paid Time Off, and much more - Growth opportunities performing essential work to support America’s food distribution system - Safe and inclusive working environment, including culture of rewards, recognition, and respect - Hybrid opportunities available **Position Summary**: **Position Responsibilities**: - Support the maintenance of detailed fixed asset records in the BNA fixed asset software - Reconcile and analyze fixed assets to GAAP asset records - Prepare and file 200+ annual personal property tax renditions - Support Manager with any real property tax reporting and payments - Review property tax assessments for reasonableness, defend filing positions, and prepare for payment - Work with operating personnel to prepare property tax budgets - Maintain tax calendar and filing requirements in PTMS - Support management in state and local audits with information gathering, data analysis and implementation of system changes with respect to audit findings - Document department processes and identify any opportunities for process improvement - Research and interpret relevant property tax law, as needed - Interact with other members of the Finance department and accounting personnel at the operating facilities - Performs other related duties as assigned. **Qualification**: - 2-4 years’ experience with fixed asset accounting and property tax - Strong ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects in a changing environment - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written **Company description** **Performance Food Group is a customer-centric foodservice distribution leader headquartered in Richmond, Va.
