With over 30 years in business The Vinyl Window Designs group of companies has become one of the foremost Window companies in the Greater Toronto Region. The group manufacturers and supplies Aluminum and Vinyl windows to both the construction industry and to the residential renovation market.

We are currently seeking a Service Technician to add to our team, located just off the 400 Highway in North York.

**Statement**

This position repairs defective windows relative to customer warranties, distributors and or dealer’s clientele.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Repair defective windows and doors and relate any manufacturing concerns to the Service Department Manager.
- Collect data on product weaknesses and fill out required reports.
- Where necessary take digital pictures and record production errors for root causes of window failures.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and service requirements.
- Submit any requisition slips for materials, supplies and reworks as required.
- Complete daily log book and all documentation, as required by the Company.
- Assist in the development and training of new service staff.
- Maintain safe and proper operation of the Company vehicle.
- Must advise the Company of all traffic violations - both work and/or personal.
- _**Must comply with Company’s Health and Safety Procedures and the provisions and regulations in the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act.**_

**Requirements**:

- At least two years of customer service experience preferably in a window and door or similar environment.
- Strong, effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven problem solving skills and decision making abilities
- Efficient, excellent attention to detail, and follow
- through
- Highly organized with a positive 'can do' attitude

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
