**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Maintain schedule for regularly scheduled trips, as well as providing exceptional customer service.
- Coordinate with Customer Services Coordinator for schedules, delayed travel times, etc.
- Be flexible and accommodating for rentals and to the customer’s requirements as long as they remain within the parameters of the rental agreement.
- Able to operate lift on the bus for assisting handicapped passengers.
- Load luggage onto the bus and ensure safe storing.
- Ensure safety of passengers at all times.
- Maintain the bus, pre-trip and post-trip checks for fluids, check tires and tire pressure, mirrors interior and exterior of the bus and completing all required
- The bus must be always kept clean, sweep, mop, interior and exterior cleaned and washed as and when required, dispose trash after each trip.
- The ability to support staff and sustain optimum productivity.
- The ability to demonstrate interpersonal skills when dealing with the public.

**QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE**:

- Valid Class 1, 2, or 4 Driver’s License
- Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
- Alberta Drivers Abstract demonstrating a safe driving record
- Must complete a medical examination and vision assessment.
- Must be 25 years of age or older
- Knowledge of Grande Prairie, Hinton and Co-ops
- Valid Standard First Aid and AED
- Defensive driving course would be an asset

**SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to work well independently and as a contributing member of a team
- Exercise mature judgment

**WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHISYCAL ENVIRONMENT**:

- Long periods of sitting
- Physical exertion
- Exposed to cold and heat

**HEALTH & SAFETY**:

- **All personnel working at the Municipal District of Greenview are governed by the Municipal District Health & Safety Policy.**
- Ensures all operations are conducted in a safe manner and in accordance with Municipal District Policies and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.
