**Job description**

**Sono Consulting is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our Oshawa location (300 King Street West, Oshawa) on part-time basis. You have an opportunity to work with a caring team that strives to maintain the best work conditions for all our staff You will be able to work independently while having all the necessary support in order to excel in your field of expertise.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Brief patients on the scheduled ultrasound procedures in a friendly manner
- Perform studies that pertain to the General Ultrasound modality including but not limited to Ob/Gyn (including NT), abdomen, pelvic, transrectal, breast, small parts, and MSK
- Draft, audit, and submit post-study electronic work sheets to the radiologist
- Monitor and maintain the equipment and supplies
- Disinfect the ultrasound equipment and maintain the reprocessing room

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Active member of CMRITO
- Active member of ARDMS and/or Sonography Canada
- NT certificate is a must
- Tech is expected to process on average 22 studies per shift
- Tech is expected to process 3 anatomies and 4 NT's per shift and high volume of TV's
- Knowledge of Samsung HS60 ultrasound device is an asset
- Knowledge of Velox Imaging PACS is an asset
- Ability to work with electronic worksheets is an asset
- Ability to work on the weekends is an asset
- Great communication skills

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $32.00-$42.00 per hour
