**We are looking for an experiences site and shop roofing metal fabricator to work and manage our metal department. This is a hands-on role and requires professionalism, experience, pride and confidence to make the department their own.**

**Job Duties**
- Travel to construction sites, measure all areas requiring metal
- Working at varied heights using ladder, scaffold and/or lifts
- Install sheet metal products and components following established installation techniques and procedures.
- Operating various metalworking machines
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products and components according to site measurements, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
- Quality assurance during all steps of fabrication and installation
- Use various tools, such as shears, brakes, and punches to cut, shape and form sheet metal into desired shapes and sizes.
- Measure, mark and lay out work pieces using measuring tools and equipment, such as calipers, rulers, and squares, to ensure accurate dimensions and fit.
- Inspect and test finished products and components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including properly storing tools and equipment, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries while working with sheet metal.
- Collaborate with other team members, such as in-house and field project managers, to ensure projects are completed on time and meet client requirements.
- Preference given to experience with automated sheet metal folders, breaks and shears

**Qualifications**
- Skilled in using hand and power tools
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with machining and calipers
- Familiarity with metal fabrication processes and ductwork assembly
- Basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations
- G license
