We are seeking workers to fill full time labourer positions for our on-going Halifax contracts. The positions are 40hrs a week with overtime available most weeks.

This position is great for those who want an introduction to the trades industry and enjoys working with their hands

**This position has a wide variety of tasks which include**
- Grinding/ Use of small tools
- Fire watch
- Lifting
- Assisting welders/ pipefitters
- Maintain safe and clean work environment
- Follow all Health and Safety guidelines by Maritime Pressure Works and Customers

**Applicants are required to have**
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Fill out Reliability Status/ Controlled Goods forms
- Be physically capable of lifting 50lbs
- Arrive with CSA approved work boots
- Strong Work Ethic

**Benefits**
- Paychecks are weekly, vacation pay included
- After Probationary period, dental and health benefits as well as RRSP contributions

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

COVID-19 considerations:
Required to wear a mask and appropriate PPE. Maintain physical distancing. Full Vaccination required for access to customer sites.

**Experience**:

- Skilled Labor: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver's License (preferred)
