**Position Overview**

As a Manager, Data and System Analyst, you will play a key role in providing ongoing support to the business unit in the area of data analytics, digital system implementation, data management for the various projects. This support also includes ongoing risk analysis in the areas of operational performance, safety, quality and cost when providing ongoing analysis and reporting of production data. This position reports directly to the Senior Manager Technical Services.

Please note, this positon requires the individual to travel to remote work sites as needed.

**What You'll Do Here**
- Manage and maintain Third Party data and information systems.
- Manage and monitor performance metrics and prepare reporting processes that monitor and report progress
- Collect, manage, and interpret data from the different digital systems to help identify trends
- Interpret data and ensure timely and appropriate professional publications
- Develop/Implement recommendations for further enhancement of existing systems
- Prepare information reporting and statistics for use by Projects and/or Business Units
- Construct workflow charts and diagrams, study system capabilities and write specifications
- Perform functional testing on enhancements, modifications, and system changes.
- Write improved procedures, workflows, and user guides.
- Be able to coach, teach, and mentor on the use of the digital systems and supports education and training programs
- Support development and delivery of training to business and project users
- Creation of ad hoc reports as well as support of existing reports
- Perform functional testing on enhancements, modifications, and system changes.
- Maintain test/development environment
- Liaison with different 3rd party digital system providers
- Independently required to plan, schedule and manage own time, including taking into account the plans of others
- Development of reports, and procedures as required

**What You Bring to the Team**
- Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in data analytics or project engineering in a construction or EPC environment
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, in programs related, in a Data Analytics or Engineering discipline
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication, publication and presentation skills
- Experience with the Construction industry preferred
- Experience working with users to gather requirements
- Understanding management processes and database experience required
- Experience with MS Office suite required
- Strong technical skills regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Adept at queries, macros, report writing and presenting findings
- Understanding of business intelligent platforms and supporting platforms (preferably with Microsoft product knowledge) i.e. Power Bi, Power App, Microsoft Flow and Excel
- The skillset to design and implement databases to support the business unit
