**Nutri Group** is currently looking for a **Sanitation Worker** for our **Maritime Pride Eggs**plant on the evening shift.

In the 1970s, two groups of visionary producers, determined by the desire to serve the maritime market and respond to new customers’ demand, started Sunny Glen Eggs in New Brunswick and Archibald Farms Products in Nova Scotia, two centralized eggs grading stations. Due to the rapid evolution of the market, both retailers and food service customers, efforts have been made. Maritime Pride Eggs, the largest egg grading station in the Maritimes, was built in 2007 in Amherst, Nova Scotia.

**Maritime Pride Eggs** is a proud business unit of **Nutri Group** and has a mandate to provide its customers with high quality products that meet the high expectations of today’s customers and consumers. Maritime Pride Eggs Inc. is the largest supplier of eggs in Atlantic Canada. We pick up, grade, package, and distribute eggs to all major chain stores in the Maritimes.

**Responsibilities**:
Perform general physical activities in order to clean production area, equipment, floors, waste containers, etc. using different types of chemicals, using cleaning equipment, water guns, high-pressure sprayers, etc. Cleaning duties are off production hours and will involve cleaning under equipment, tight locations, visual inspections, and documentation.
- Follow company policies and standards including safety functions/features of equipment used
- Follow guidelines for food safety and suitability
- Clean equipment and surroundings according to standards
- Inspect each equipment after cleaning is completed
- Report discrepancies or issues noted during cleaning
- Informing designated personnel of any issues pertaining to sanitation equipment, supplies needed, solutions, etc.
- Maintain quality, and timelines during cleaning process
- Perform general housekeeping tasks within the facility
- Perform general duties, and assist the production team as required

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to multitask and assist production team when required
- High attention to detail essential with ability to work independently with mínimal supervision in a busy environment
- High attention to cleaning tasks
- Ability to operate high-pressure sprayers, floor washers, air guns safely and efficiently,
- Ability to maneuver around equipment, frequent bending, use of stools and ladders, and reaching
- Physically capable of lifting and pushing/pulling up to 50 lb, able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and walking, must be physically able to climb ladders/stairs, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces
- Good written and oral communication skills
- High attention to company’s Policies and health & safety rules
- Means of transportation to arrive at work

**Schedule and salary**:

- Monday to Friday: 15:30PM to 12:00 AM.
- Salary: 18.00$ /hour + 1,50/hour shift premium.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
