FedEx Express Canada is looking for a **Strategic Sourcing Specialist**

**General Summary**
- You will analyze, create and implement effective and efficient sourcing of products and services through building relationships with suppliers, negotiating cost and developing agreements that bring about significant cost savings while meeting compliance mandates.
- You are experienced in implementing and managing procure to pay (P2P) process and procedures.
- You will also monitor and manage internal processes to ensure the corporate requirements of quality, reliability and responsiveness are met or exceeded.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required**:

- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration or supply chain preferred..
- Certification in purchasing and/or SCMP Designation (preferred**).**:

- ** Minimum Two (2) years’ experience in inventory management, logistics support or strategic sourcing/procurement**:

- Experience in procure to pay (P2P) processes and procedures
- Experience across multiple spend categories preferred.

Other specific mandatory experience requirements
- In the province of Quebec, must be bilingual (French and English)
- Data entry, data analysis, invoice reconciliation, contract administration.
- Contract negotiation and supplier selection

Solid knowledge of the following:

- Ability to work with large amounts of data

Computer literacy and proficiency:

- Must be able to operate in a PC Windows environment.
- Excel-Standard
- PowerPoint-Basic
- MS Word-Basic
- Microsoft Outlook-Basic
