**Position**: English Instructor

We are seeking a passionate and creative individual to teach and support students in English. This role also offers the opportunity to develop and design engaging teaching materials tailored to students’ needs.

**Responsibilities**
- Teach and support students in English, focusing on reading, writing, and comprehension
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials
- Assign and mark homework and tests
- Track and evaluate student progress, providing feedback to students and/or parents
- Identify and adapt to students’ individual learning needs
- Report student progress to the program director

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. English, Education, Linguistics)
- Current university students will be considered for Assistant Instructor positions
- Strong command of English and the ability to explain concepts clearly
- Excellent understanding of BC's elementary and high school English curriculum
- Ability to simplify complex content for student understanding
- Strong organizational and time management skills
