*Responsibilities*
- Lead and motivate a team of retail associates to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding customer service.
- Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual presentation.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Implement effective sales strategies, business development initiatives, and promotional activities to maximize revenue.
- Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and reporting.
- Negotiate with vendors to secure the best pricing and terms for products.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary to meet goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with CFIA quality control requirements for meat processing plants

*Experience*
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in math for managing budgets and analyzing sales data.
- Experience in recruiting top talent for retail positions is a plus.
- Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and suppliers.
- A background in retail sales is essential for understanding customer needs and market trends.
