Who We Are

We are a well-established architectural firm of 25+ years with our main offices in Ottawa and Montreal with an expanding portfolio that includes structural design. We are seeking an BIM/ Architectural Technician with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Montreal to join us in our growing expansion.

The Role

Experience modelling detailed design and construction drawings,
A strong understanding of building envelope and construction details on a variety of commercial and institutional project types,
Basic knowledge of zoning by-laws and building codes.
The ability to validate that designs and deliverables conform to technical guidelines, code requirements and regulations and to “red-line” digital documents at each stage of project delivery.
Experience leading the coordination of project sub-consultants.
Experience leading the Construction Administration process, such as:
Resolving conflicts with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach,
Reviewing shop drawings for alignment with design and technical intent
Responding to requests for information (RFI).
Performing site reviews and preparing field reports.
A commitment to providing technical mentoring and leadership to less experienced staff.
Strong proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD and MS Office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
