This role works within the Design/Engineering department and is responsible for entering and creating production information into a variety of software’s based on drawings and information provided by upstream processes.

**Job Duties**:

- Create and arrange assemblies in ERP in a logical manner that is easy to understand and follow for downstream operations
- Enter all raw material, purchased components and labour hours into correct assemblies in ERP considering stock levels, standard components, and material availability
- Assign rough due date for each assembly
- Program material processing equipment such as Flat Laser, Tube Laser etc. using files supplied by Design/Engineering
- Ensure drawings packages provided by Design/Engineering are complete, and adhere to internal standards before releasing to the shop floor for production
- Save all files required for shop production in correct file locations for all downstream operations

**Job Requirements**
- Experience in Epicor or other ERP
- Good understanding of fabrication process
- The ability to read and understand drawings and technical drawings
- Good understanding of different materials and products related to fabrication
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with programming software
