**Meter Technician - Victoria**

Number of positions: 1 Job Location: Victoria DO

Employment type: Permanent Region: Vancouver Island

Hours of work: Full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Flexible Work Role: Field

Hourly Rate: $ 47.93

**What you'll do**
- As per IBEW Collective Agreement.
- Journeyman/woman Meter Technician shall undertake work associated with all aspects of metering as assigned

**What you bring**
- As per IBEW Collective Agreement.
- A Meter Technician of British Columbia Trade Qualification (BCTQ) and/or Interprovincial Red Seal (IP) to work in British

Columbia in compliance with British Columbia Trades Certification, apprenticeship program
- Valid Class 5 B.C. driver's licence or the ability to obtain same
- Strong commitment to safety, WorkSafeBC requirements and safe work practices
- Interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and internal and external customers Demonstrated ability to operate a PC,
- Ability to meet production schedules and deadlines

Meter Technician Certificate = In Good Standing
Driver's License Type = Class 5
- A written quiz covering technical, safety and administrative skills will form a part of the selection process
