**Responsibilities**:
- Clinical chairside assisting duties including knowledge of instrumentation
- Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour
- Prepare treatment room in accordance with infection control and practice protocols for each patient
- Thorough understanding of practice health and safety requirement.
- Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with the Ontario Dental Assisting Association
- HARP certified
- Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
- Strong written and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Punctual and reliable
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Sunday
- Weekends are must
- Experience: dental office: 2 years (required)
**Summary**
As an Experienced Certified Dental Assistant, you will be integral to the smooth operation of our dental practice, reporting directly to the lead dentist. Your role will involve assisting with patient care, managing dental records, and ensuring compliance with medical terminology and procedures. With core skills in dental assisting and a strong background in dental office operations, you will utilize premium skills in Dentrix and orthodontics to enhance patient experiences. Your expertise in pediatrics and CAD will further support our commitment to providing high-quality dental care in a welcoming environment.
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Flexible language requirement:
