**SHUNT DRIVER**

The Shunt Driver is required to load & unload raw materials & finished goods on & off the trucks. The shunt driver is also responsible for transporting items from one warehouse to another. The Shunt Driver’s duties include but are not limited to moving products and materials to designated locations, loading and unloading of trucks and other related tasks

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Load and unload materials from truck while transporting items from one warehouse to another.
- Pick up or deliver finished goods.
- Review and complete necessary paperwork such as work orders, purchase orders, bill of ladings, etc.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards of the truck being used and communicate with the manager when repair(s) is required.
- Maintain daily logs and tracking documents for work performed.
- Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-years experience in driving a box truck.
- Ability to provide Drivers Abstract Record.
- Valid G Class driver’s license.
- Experience with routine maintenance operations.
- Valid Raymond Reach, Walkie and Counter Balance license
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to carry and move equipment and/or supplies in excess of 50 lbs.
- Overtime as required.

**Job Type**:

- Full Time

**Salary Range: $20.00 per hour**
