OPTOPLUS is a group of visual clinics whose owners are highly qualified independent optometrists and opticians, for whom visual health is paramount. Our mission is to take care of our patients' eyes by offering them personalized and attentive service, a range of quality optical products as well as complete visual examinations with state-of-the-art equipment.

Are you passionate about customer service and do you want to join a dynamic and friendly team? The OPTOPLUS Gatineau clinic is looking for a full or part-time prescription optician.

**Status**: Permanent

**Schedule**: Full or part time

**Location**: 1160 boulevard St-Joseph, Hull, Quebec, J8Z 1T3

**The main tasks and responsibilities**:
Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner;
Assist the client during his visit to the clinic;
Evaluate and identify the client's needs regarding the choice of frames and ophthalmic lenses according to their prescription;
Inform the customer about the different options, products, promotions available to meet their needs;
Ensure the quality of the glasses before delivery;
Perform repairs on glasses; Analyze problem cases;
Work closely with the team to ensure consistent customer service.

**Qualifications and skills required**:
Member of the Order of Dispensing Opticians of Quebec;
Customer service oriented;
Demonstrate autonomy and rigor;
Have a professional language;
Enjoy working in a team;
Have excellent oral and written communication skills (French and English);
Be respectful of colleagues, patients and doctors;
Showing empathy;
Demonstrate a positive attitude;
Be punctual and reliable;
Dynamism.
