**Job description**

Looking for an experienced car detailing master who is looking to take on a new responsibility as a Shop Operator. Your main task is to manage the Detailing Department in it's entirety. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to evolve into the more business side of Auto Detailing.

Job involves but is not limited to:

- Opening shop
- Mixing and organizing chemicals daily
- Greeting customers with charisma, identifying their needs and executing the work to be done
- Leading the team by example in terms of quality of work. You must be able to fully detail a car with superb quality
- Look after and manage the other detailers, including double checking their work and overall quality control. *important*
- Keep track of the work done by the other detailers and sign-off on their cars
- Respond to customer complaints accordingly, fixing anything that needs to be fixed, and then relaying that information to the corresponding detailer.
- Maintain the entry book, recording all the cars done for the day and method of paying.
- Cashing out the customers, entertaining customers
- Keeping the shop tidy and clean
- Closing the shop at the end of the day, and performing end of day reconciliation
- Report to and assist the owners with whatever that is required.

This is a management position and you will be reporting directly to the owners. We are looking for a professional person to handle this.

You will be getting paid a base salary on top of which you will be getting commission for the cars you detail personally and bonuses based on the performance of the shop (total cars detailed). We need someone who is hungry, who is going to stay focused on the task at hand, and stop at nothing to produce the results.

Auto Detailing Experience is MANDATORY. You must know what you are doing here.
